On Monday, we decided to take advantage of the holiday, and spend the afternoon at the Oakland zoo. We had a great time! The weather was a little chilly, but the sun was shining and we hardly noticed the cold. Talen informed us that his favorite animal was the elephants and from the moment we stepped into the zoo, he would not let us forget:) It was a good thing this zoo had elephants or we would have had one sad little boy! Mason loved the sun bears - they were pretty cute and cuddly. And I suppose kinda like his bear at home. It was fun to see the excitement on their faces with every new animal, esppecially Talen, who can finally say all their names. A fun day we will for sure remember.
